Traditional Hungarian All Around Saddle

STRUCTURE: 

The saddle is made from natural materials only. It is made of elastic wooden plates, a light metal structure, plenty of leather and even more wool. Conspicuous features are comfort and safety.

The design is adjusted to the horse's back, it has a huge channel, and the elastic, large saddle pads are padded with soft, wool filling to enable free movement and comfort for the horse.

The high pommels and the deep seat covered in a leather cushion padded with soft wool ensure safety and comfort for the rider. 

USE: 

Developed and designed while being used, this saddle has become a multifunctional type of saddle. 

The following activities played an important role in the development and practical use of our saddle: 

•  Long trail riding tours and endurance riding
• riding for training purposes: riders’ training, horse training, high level exercises 
• heritage preservation (exercising Hungarian and eastern traditions, practising acrobatic equestrian elements, playing buzkhashi and performing equestrian archery) 
• working equitation
• training beginner riders
• providing comfort for horses that other saddles don't fit well

SIZE: It is made in a one size, but it fits a lot of different types of horses. We use it in our services on many kinds of horses, and our customers use it on very big and skinny horses too. I would not suggest it to be used on a pony though, however we already had some customers who bought the saddle for hucul horses.

The top pad can be used with either the soft leather on top or the warm sheepskin on top (very nice on cold days and long rides). 

For our saddles the standard under saddle pads for sport saddles are not suitable. 

You may try: military blanket, western under saddle pad, woolen under saddle pad or our woolen rug-type of pad can be ordered with the saddle. 

Saddle comes with the girth included. Stirrups, under saddle pads are not included.
