Only pig bristles are used for the hoof brush. They are taut enough to absorb hoof fat or balm, or due to the special surface structure they are able to absorb hoof oil in the best possible way without dripping.

The bristle length of the medium-taut pig bristles is 1.3 inches.

The »Hoof brush« has a handle made of natural lacquered PEFC-certified beech wood, which was turned into a round brush in the Erzgebirge. Beech wood also promises an antibacterial effect and a pleasant feeling in the hand, even in very cold temperatures.
